100

Blogger keeps track of how many posts are on your blog. This post is #100. On tv shows, when they hit 100 episodes, they have a cake and broadcast the fact that this 100th episode will be the [insert appropriate modifier by genre: best, funniest, scariest, most shocking, etc.] yet!

I make no such promises for my 100th blog. I tried to think of some clever gimmick I could post, but instead, I'm going to open up a bit more. Allow me to give you a little glimpse into my life with 100 things you may not know about me.

1. I used to bite my nails.
2. I scar easily.
3. My feet are giant.
4. I get tension headaches a lot.
5. My middle name is Jane.
6. I didn't have the chicken pox until I was 11.
7. I've broken my left arm. Twice.
8. I can wiggle my eyes.
9. I just crocheted my first sweater.
10. I am a great-aunt. (I'm also a great aunt.)
11. I used to watch tv until 3a just because I could. I can't anymore.
12. I have a birthmark on my heel.
13. In 5th grade I gossiped about my teacher, then cried when she found out.
14. I don't want to have kids. But I think it would be interesting to be pregnant.
15. My last name used to have 10 letters. Now it has 4.
16. My favorite chips are salt and vinegar.
17. I've read more books than you can count.
18. I secretly wish I was an actor.
19. I harbor resentment more than I should.
20. I claim to be a Christian all my life, but I didn't even begin to understand Jesus until 6th grade.
21. I like to swim, but I'm not very good at it.
22. I once lost a tshirt in Lake Michigan while playing with my sister and we never found it.
23. My right pinky is slightly longer than my left pinky.
24. I miss my sister.
25. I've never punched anyone for real and I kinda hope I can someday.
26. I have seasonal depression.
27. I used to sing in choirs, but have recently realized I can't sing a lick.
28. I eat certain snacks in multiples of two.
29. My parents divorced when I was 7 and I don't think I've ever gotten over it.
30. Sometimes I listen to rap and hip hop. And like it.
31. I like to alphabatize things.
32. I daydream more than I should.
33. I kind of wish I was a blonde.
34. The hardest words for me to say are "I'm sorry. I was wrong."
35. I like to read cheesy romances.
36. My first bike was a red Hello Kitty tricycle (with removable training wheels, red and white streamers, and Hello Kitty in a dome on the handlebars that was a bell). It was my favortie bike.
37. My first kiss wasn't the best.
38. I was on the prom committee in high school.
39. I love to dance, but I rarely do.
40. I wish I were more adventurous.
41. One of my favorite moments with my half-sister is when I felt her unborn baby kick.
42. I love to play Racko with my mom and sister.
43. My husband always beats me at Boggle.
44. My dream house is any house on a beach.
45. I love to hike.
46. I wish I knew my grandma better.
47. I once swam with sharks.
48. My goal is to have visited at least 4 continents by the time I die.
49. I pretended to be full on Christmas day dinner and declined dessert because I had a piece of Cheescake Factory white chocolate raspberry swirl cheesecake at home I wanted to eat.
50. I've been wearing flat shoes a lot lately.
51. I don't floss very often.
52. I used to play the flute and now can barely remember how to read music.
53. I don't like talking on the phone.
54. I wish I were more techno savvy.
55. I hate confrontation.
56. I love french fries from Ray's.
57. I've only had 4 jobs in my life and I was fired from one.
58. I once knit a scarf for my grandma and she wears it all the time.
59. I always contemplated my outfit for the first day of school for about a week so I would look cool and in style without looking like I was trying too hard.
60. I want to die in my 70s (preferably in my sleep).
61. Sometimes I wish I were French.
62. I think I would have had fun living in the 1800s.
63. My alarm goes off at 6:09a so I can hit the snooze button 3 times, totalling 21 minutes, so I roll out of bed exactly at 6:30a.
64. Lately, I've hit the snooze bar 4 times.
65. I'm a very habitual person.
66. I'm kind of a picky eater. I don't like very many vegetables.
67. I wish I held dinner parties.
68. My favorite band in elementary school was New Kids on the Block.
69. I had multiple snap bracelets.
70. I could watch When Harry Met Sally a million times.
71. When I was five, I watched Mary Poppins every day.
72. My husband and I saw Shrek together on our first date.
73. I always get excited when the clock reads 2:18 because that's my birthday.
74. I've always wanted to get a tattoo, but never have.
75. I always truncate decimals. No rounding.
76. My favorite food is ice cream. I've eaten it for breakfast before.
77. I'm not very good with sharing my faith with others.
78. I don't like being the center of attention.
79. When I speak up in important meetings, I start to sweat.
80. I wish I took more pictures.
81. My dad usually beats me at cribbage.
82. I've never used all my tiles in one turn at Scrabble.
83. I often have a severe case of Youngest Child Syndrome.
84. I made my own wedding dress.
85. Sometimes, I don't brush my teeth before bed.
86. I like taking road trips.
87. If I could have one superpower, it would be the ability to fly.
88. I love the smell of oranges.
89. Lilacs are my favorite flower, but I'm allergic to them.
90. I still have my tonsils.
91. I secretly watch really cheesy girly shows and movies when my husband's not home; then I change the channel when he walks in.
92. I think the "name a star after a loved one" is a scam, but I really wish someone would name a star after me.
93. My least favorite month is a tie between January and March.
94. I always wished I could ice skate well (like, jumps and stuff).
95. I sobbed when I said my wedding vows.
96. I've never played the lottery.
97. My least favorite holidays are Valentine's Day and Halloween.
98. I hate it when there is no snow on Christmas.
99. I wish I had straight hair.
100. I never thought I'd make it to 100.

You have just written a character composite for ythe main character of the novel you're going to write!!! :) Go for it!!

First of all, I love this list. Second of all, #25 is my dream too. I kind of want to have to defend my sister some day or something. I think I could really throw a punch! Ha! Also, I'm 5'2" so this may be in my head.

Also, I love the phrase "bull honky."
