A Long Time

Oh, my. I haven't written anything in a long time. Mostly because I've been busy out of my mind. Partly because many of the posts I've composed in my head are whiny and annoying and full of self-pity.

But today, there are so many things for which to be thankful. My parents, though often dealing with health issues, are in my life and I get to see them regularly. My sister is meeting me for lunch today. I woke curled up in warm blankets with the windows open to the chilly fall air, next to my sleeping husband.

And I leave this afternoon for a fun-filled Fife Lake weekend with friends. Happiness.
