Week 4: The Office Recap

This week's MVP? Michael. Steve Carell does such an amazing job at making Michael the biggest idiot you've ever met and yet still making you sympathize with him. From the fake mustache to the first call with Holly to his visit with Jan to the voicemail he finally left for Holly, I was actually interested in what was happening to him.

I mean, it was ridiculous. And I still laugh that no one told him that a cold sore is not herpes. But he was honestly trying to learn something about himself. Why and how aren't really relevant to me.

The other half of the episode? Painful! Someone please put Andy out of his misery. And Erin is so sweet. All of her reactions this episode were so enthusiastic. She and Andy really deserve each other. Will someone please, please transfer Gabe?

Jan is still super, super creepy. "Assy"? You canNOT call your child that. Not ever. Never.

What did I miss, people? Anything you really liked? Hated?

I think that Erin and Andy are having that "Ross and Rachel" thing and I'm kind of getting annoyed with it. They are too perfect to not be together... if the show ends after Carell leaves then we are going to miss all of their quirky dates and such. No fair.

Funny forgotten part: Michael mistaking the old lady on the park bench for Pam's mom... classic!

I also love that Dwight felt the need to accompany Michael to make sure that he actually told his exes about herpes... and I loved that no one told him that that's not what he really had :)

Other funny forgotten part: Daryl's generic advice

Thanks for bringing back the updates!
